Ingredients:
250 grams- Paneer (cottge cheese)
3 tbsp – ghee or butter
1/2 cup – onion, chopped
1 tsp – Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 tbsp – ginger paste
1/4 cup – green chilies, chopped (2 Medium)
2 1/2 cup – Tomato, chopped or puree
2 - Cardamoms crushed
1/4 cup – yogurt
1/2 tsp – red chilli powder
1/2 tsp - garam masala
salt to taste
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp. tomato ketchup (optional)
Coriander Leaves to Garnish
Method:
- Cut Paneer into 2” long strips.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan; add cardamom and onion. Cook for 4 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and green chili. Simmer and cook for 8 minutes.
- Add yogurt and cook for 5 minutes. Put off the flame. Put 1/2 cup of water and let it cool.
- Blend this mixture to make a smooth paste.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan; add cumin seeds, add gravy, red chili powder, garam masala, and Ketchup.
- Boil this mixture and add milk.
- Bring it to boil again and add paneer. Cook for another 4 minutes.
- Garnish it with Coriander leaves. Serve Hot.
