Chili Paneer, Cottage Cheese cooked Indian Chinese Style




Ingredients:

Paneer 400 gms.
Green chilies 8 medium size
Soya Sauce 2 & 1/2 tbsps.
Maida 2 tbsps.
Cornflour 3 tbsps.
Spring onions 1 1/2 tbsp.
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp.
Oil To fry
Salt To taste

Cilantro for Garnishing.

Directions:

  1. Cut the paneer in cubes. sprinkle maida, cornflour, finely
    chopped green chilies, pepper powder and soya sauce and mix well.
  2. Fry the paneer pieces in hot oil. Put the fried paneer on towel paper so the paneer looses extra oil.
  3. For the sauce, heat oil in a pan, add the spring onions, cook for about a minute then add garlic pieces and cook for another minute.
  4. Now add green chilies.
  5. Make a paste with cornflour and little water and keep aside.
  6. Add soya sauce, pepper powder, and salt.
  7. Add some water in the pan and once it starts boiling, add paneer pieces and cornflour paste.
  8. Cook for a 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Garnish it with Cilantro.
  9. Serve Hot.
