
Ingredients:
For Dumplings:
Cornflour 2 tbsps.
Cabbage grated 2 cups
Carrot grated ½ cup
Oil For frying
For Gravy/Sauce:
Onion chopped ¼ cup
Chopped Green chilies 1 tbsp.
Chopped garlic 1 tbsp.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Pepper powder ½ tbsp.
Oil 2 tbsps.
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Salt To taste
Cilantro for Garnishing..
Directions:
- Squeeze all water from grated cabbage. Take a bowl mix grated carrot, cornflour and grated cabbage. Mix well to form it to dough.
- Make small balls from this mixture. Deep fry these bowls until light brown.
- Heat oil in wok. Add onions, saute for 2 minutes, chopped Garlic and green chillis.
- Cook for another 1 minute.
- Add water, you can add more water if you want gravy or put little water to make this dish dry.
- Add pepper, Sugar, Soya Sauce and Salt. Bring it to a bowl.
- Thicken with cornflour dissolved in cold water. Add dumplings in the sauce.
- Garnish it with Cilantro.
