Kadhai Paneer, Cottage Cheese cubes cooked with Indian Spices.




Ingredients:

Paneer 500 gms -- cut into cubes.
Sliced onion 1½ cup
Bay leaf 2 .
Dry red chili whole 3
Garlic paste 1 1/2 tsp.
Ginger paste 1 tsp.
Coriander Powder 1 1/2 tsps.
Tomato puree ¾ cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp.
Garam masala powder 1 tsp.
Oil 2 tsps.
Salt to taste


Directions:

  1. Take a pan, heat oil, add dry red chili, bayleaf, and sliced onions.
  2. Cook onion till they get golden in color.
  3. Add Ginger and Garlic paste, cook it for 2 minutes
  4. Add tomato Pureee, and red chili powder.
  5. 3. Add Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste, stir and add tomato puree, cook for few
  6. minutes.
  7. Take a bowl mix coriander powder with 1/2 cup of water. add this mixture to pan.
  8. Add paneer and cook for 5-6 minutes. Garnish it with Cilantro leaves.

Serve it with Naan, Chapati or Paratha.
