
Ingredients:
For Kofta(Dumplings)
Boiled potatoes 2 large
Paneer 100 gms
Green chilies- Chopped 1 1/2 tsp.
Cornflour ¼ cup
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
Gravy:
Onion Puree 1 cup
Green chili(chopped) ½ tsp.
Garlic paste 1 1/2 tbsp.
Ginger paste 1 tbsp.
Mawa ½ cup -- Mawa can be substituted with Milk powder
Heavy Whipping cream ½ cup
Turmeric powder 1 tsp.
Coriander powder 1 1/2 tsp.
Garam Masala 1 tsp.
Tomato puree ½ cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp.
Oil 2 tbsp.
Salt to taste
Directions:
- Take Boiled Potatoes and grate them. Add corn flour, salt and green chilis.
- Make equal size koftats(Dumplings) and fry them in hot oil till there color changes.
- Take them out to and put them on towel paper. This will help in removing extra oil from koftas.
- Take a pan, heat oil add onion puree and cook until it changed color. You may add pinch of salt to cook onion faster.
- Add turmeric powder.
- Add ginger and garlic paste. cook for 2 minutes.
- Add coriander powder and salt.
- Add tomato puree and put the flame to medium heat. Add red chili powder and cook for 10 minutes. Add garam masala.
- Dissolve Mawa in 1 1/2 cups of water and add to the gravy.
- Cook on high flame and wait untill gravy comes to an boil.
- Once it boils put the flame to medium and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Don't put kofta(dumplings) while cooking the sauce.
- Put kofta in right before serving.
